Management
While growing up as a skater in Argentina, a country where figure skating is not popular and training facilities are far from ideal, I have volunteered for the Argentinian Figure Skating Federation for over 7 years trying to change this sad reality. I have learned so much about sport management and discovered a new field to explore and expertise. Since 2015 I have taken different management courses, worked in two Olympic Games and one Panamerican Game, and I still collaborate as Events Manager for FAPH.
It all started as a hobby...
ARGENTINIAN FIGURE SKATING FEDERATIONSince 2012 I've been collaborating as volunteer with the
Argentinian Figure Skating Federation. I've been part of the Directive Board until 2015, and then I continued being in charge of the Events Committee. My experience as Events Manager for FAPH has been very exciting, it opened the doors and gave me the tools for building a career in the business. |
National Championships at Luna Park Stadium
For its first 10 yearly editions, the most important event of national figure skating took place in small private ice rinks, with only family and friends as spectators and with almost no promotion at all. In 2015, I managed to change this while organizing the first edition of out National Championships at the most famous
ice venue in Buenos Aires City: the Luna Park Stadium.
Taking our Nationals to the Luna Park meant a huge opportunity for Argentinian skaters, since the ice rink is bigger and the ice quality much better. They also have the chance to perform for more than 5000 spectators in the Gala of Champions, a unique and unforgettable experience for all of us that also help us share our talents and make figure skating more popular in Argentina!

Achieving this, with all the good consequences it brought to figure skating in my country, is my biggest success as Event Manager. I have been part of this Organizing Committee for 4 years and I continue working to develop more events like this, so I can help my favourite sport grow in Argentina even more!
Olympic Education
During 2015, I've taken the Managing Olympic Sport Organizations Course from Olympic Solidarity at the Argentinian Olympic Committee. It was a great opportunity to learn lots of very useful tools that will help me improve my managing skills and do a better job at FAPH.
I have also participated in the 33° Session of the Argentinian Olympic Academy, and was chosen to represent my country in the 56° International Sessions for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy in Olympia, Greece. |
This Olympic education was so inspiring, it gave me not only a very rich training, but also the motivation to keep on doing what I do. I'm convinced that sports are the best tool to improve social development, and the values and the message that Olympism promote are the perfect combination for that. |

PyeongChang
Winter Olympic Games
I participated as a volunteer in the Winter Olympic Games PyeongChang 2018, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! I have helped the Observer Programme during their visits, some lucky job that allowed me to learn a lot and get to know the backstage of a Winter Olympic Game. This first Olympic experience is just a one way journey...
Youth Olympic Games
Buenos Aires 2018
During our visit to Argentina this year, my husband and I were able to make history by being part of the crew that made possible the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018. It was an unforgettable experience, an amazing challenge we enjoyed and will cherish for life. I worked as Main Press Center Coordinator and Jorge was Transport Assistant at the airports. We both are more than happy with the result of our jobs in this project and would love to repeat the experience some other Games Time!

ISU Four Continents 2019
While traveling around California with my husband, I got the opportunity to volunteer at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2019, in Anaheim. It was an amazing experience!
I was able to assist the production team of USFS during the competition, awards ceremonies and the exhibition gala as backstage support. I learned so much working with the best in the world and I can't wait to the next adventure!

Panamerican Games Lima 2019
Working for the Panamerican and Parapanamerican Games Lima 2019 was such an adventure!
I had the privilege of being part of the team that delivered five sport competitions: Figure Roller Skating, Badminton, Table Tennis, Para Badminton and Para table Tennis. Working as Venue Management Coordinator I have enjoyed leading the team and supporting the operations.
